Post-diploma project practice

Aim: to learn organization skills; participate in drafting and realizacion of a particular project; get an expert assessment of the drafted project.
Credit value of the practice: 4 Cp.

Duration: 4 weeks

Practice period: 4 weeks after the bachelor paper defence

Practice content:

• 
  To define the aims and tasks of the project; to assess the social, cultural, etc. value of the project;
  
• 
  To define the specific character of the project executors and target audience;
  
• 
  To analyse and set possible finansation sourses of the project;
  
• 
  To set the evaluation criteria of a final result;
  
• 
  To improve team work skills and accomplish the tasks of a respective project correctly.
  

• 
  To develop the skills of an independent decision making;
  
• 
  Drawing up the documentation.
  

Responsible for the practice: BRI tutor- the practice supervisor, manager of a respective project.

4. Practice assessment
4.1. The project defence takes place in the open hearing of a special committee in a form of discussion, which begins as an author of the paper provides with his/her project notice and activity relevant to the project, after that he/she lets the committee know about official references and answer the questions of the committee members.

The committee shall approve a student’s report and assessment of a supervisor in the minutes of the committee hearing. The committee decision shall be considered when making a decision about awarding with a professional qualification (profession).

4.2. The following shall be submitted to the committee for the defence of the project practice:

- documents about the bachelor project realization and one’s participation in its realization;

- reference for the level of the realized project from interested organizations (commercial structures, funds, creative bodies, professional associations, etc.);

- the bachelor paper defence minutes.

4.3. The professional qualification shall be awarded with after the successful passing of the qualification exam (written and oral part), public defence of the bachelor paper, and defence of the project practice.
