Sri Guru Granth Sahiband Tolerance:
Tolerance is the quality of accepting differences in behavior of people which arises due to
religious and cultural diversity. It is the capacity to accept others and valuing the differences in
their opinions. The Golden temple which is also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib has four entry
doors which epitomize the tolerance of Sikhism means people from all four points of the
compass are welcome without any religion.
“sahan seel sant sam mitarsa-y durajneh”
Saints are tolerant and good-natured; friends and enemies are the same to them (SGGS, p-1356).
It entails that leaders should accept differences of opinions and be pro-active in their dealings
with employees.
