INTRODUCTION (abstract of PhD thesis) 
 
The aim of the research is to determine the structural, semantic and 
lexicographical features of the Uzbek socio-political terminology, the definition
of thematic groups and the inclusion of the results of the thesis in the Dictionary
of the socio-political terms of the Uzbek language. 
The object of the study are the terms of the socio-political sphere of the 
Uzbek language; scientific publications, newspapers, magazines and vocabulary 
materials. 
The subject of the research is structural, semantic, constructional, thematic 
and lexicographical features of socio-political terms. 
Scientific novelty of the research:

identified thematic groups, historical and etymological layers of socio-
political terms of the Uzbek language; 
testifies to the role of synthesized, double, joint, simplified structural
forms of socio-political terms, which are marked by an increase in the ―number‖
of derivative methods, such as semantically, compositional and affixal, in the 
context of industry terminology 
in the context of sociopolitical terms, synonymy, variation, homonymy and 
multi-meaningful ones are based on the semantic development of terms and the 
accumulation of a commonly derived linguistics, based on the influence of their 
communication on the process; 
a conceptual vocabulary of sociopolitical terms was proposed, which explains 
the role of the hyponymic law in the formulation of terminology.
