1.0. Introduction
Event management is organizing and managing the event from start to finish. And organizing event includes setting up the program, location, catering, planning and reserving facilities, venue, contracts, preparing and distributing documents. Event management will be every event such as social, education and career, sport, entertainment, political, corporate, religious, fund raising events, and so on. This assignment is to make research on how should successful event organizer be?, his role, skills and tasks that are required from him and etc.

In order to get information, I interviewed Rashidjon Nabijonov, who works as an event organizer. And in the interview I asked questions about how to be a successful event organizer, what abilities and things are required and so on.

There are tasks that an event organizer must perform to make an event a success. They are:
Organizing the event where, when and how it will take place
Meet the legal requirements for the event
Organizational procedures to be applied, such as policies on how to reduce risk assessments, and security controls
Organizing an event actually means planning and managing the event from start to finish. Thus, planning is very important for a successful event. There are six planning skills that organizers should use when planning, they are:
Organising - At the start of the event, the event manager should make sure that everything goes on time, notes are taken, documents are distributed, rooms and facilities are easily accessible, and arrival and cancellation cases are recorded. So, when everything is set up, the event manager can make sure everything runs flatly.
Problem solving – this is a skill that talking to guests to find out any issues, observing outcomes of previous and other organized events and solving problems that may occur.
Time managing – time management means how to allocate and how to use the time more efficiently. In other words, focusing what is more important and keeping everything on schedule.
Negotiating - this means that the two parties can make an agreement with each other without causing any problems or misunderstandings.
Communicating - One of the most important skills of an event organizer is communication. There are a variety of ways to communicate, including over the phone, texting, sending emails, and in person. When communicating, the organizer should make sure that he is speaking effectively and listen to them.
Interpersonal - interpersonal communication is an internal communication skills that does not communicate with attendee. The skills you will need when working with a team or interacting with customers and suppliers
