Data collection
The research was conducted among 15 students, including 7 males and 9 females at school during a month. All participants belonged to the class of the 6th while they were a mixed-level pupils. During the study, the researcher preserved all of the necessary records for a month in order to analyze the learners' development in listening. Interviews, surveys, comments, reflections, evaluations, an observation list of students' performance, and the findings of pre and post-tests relating to challenges using authentic materials in listening that the learners encountered during the process were used as data gathering tools.
Analysis of teachers’ interview data
To obtain relevant data for the study, 5 English language teachers were taken so as to conduct interview. The teachers were asked to give their responses on the following issues:
Who are elementary level learners?
The most teachers answered to this question elementary schools cover grades 1 through 5, and the ages of the children are usually 6-11 years.
What strategies can be used to help young learners learn vocabulary effectively?
Many teachers recommend understanding how to use vocabulary words depending on their meaning. Develop a new vocabulary Search for words from the dictionary and link them together in terms of meaning.

As a result of the survey, many teachers answered this question in the affirmative. The reason is that the teacher teaches the student the correct method of memorization, which is important in memorizing vocabulary, and the student's interest in memorizing words is formed.
