The Tampa airport is approximately 27 miles and 45 minutes from the hotel by car. Please schedule your flights so that you will be able to attend the meeting beginning at 2:00pm on Wed., March 10. You may schedule your return flight any time after approximately 3:00pm on Fri., March 12. Ground Transportation
You may arrange reserved sedan transportation from the airport to the hotel with the hotel concierge at (727) 391-4000. Reserved sedan transportation costs approximately $45.00 each way.
Super Shuttle Transportation is also available from the airport to the hotel for approximately $16.00 (one-way, per person). Please note that these shuttles do make stops for other passengers. Most meals will be provided for you during the meeting days. Since many of our meeting participants’ schedules vary we ask that you reconfirm which meals you will need during the meeting days. On the Registration Form, please indicate the meals in which you will participate. Attire
Dress is casual. The average temperature for the Tampa/St. Petersburg area in March is low 55 and high of 76. Remember that meeting room temperatures can vary so please consider bringing a sweater that you can wear during the meeting or outside in the evening.
Room reservations can be made directly with the hotel 800-447-7263 or 727-391-4000. Ask for the Allies Against Asthma group rate. The group rates offered are $159.00 Gulffront view or $139.00 Inland view per night (plus 11% tax). There is a $25.00 charge per night for each extra adult in the room. Children stay free in room with parent. These group rates are offered three days before and after the meeting dates for personal stays. Reservations must be made with the hotel by Monday, January 19, 2004. We cannot guarantee room availability or the group rate after this date.
The hotel is located on a beautiful private white powder sand beach on the Gulf of Mexico. Hotel rooms offer coffee maker, hair dryers and dual line cordless phones with voice mail.
