FOLKLORE – traditional beliefs and stories of a people, the study of these.
EPIC - a major work dealing with an important theme. In poetry, a long work dealing with the actions
of gods and heroes.

NARRATIVE - A poem, which tells a story.
SCRIBE – ancient or medieval copyist of manuscripts
MONK - a man, who is a member of a group of religious men, who live a simple life apart from general
society, usually in a monastery.
