Nowadays, the issues associated with fires in forests are on the rise, which is making many people concerned.
In the forthcoming paragraphs, several major problems related to this will be outlined together with some effective long-term solutions.
To commence with, it is a well-known fact that there can be a wide range of problems that will stem from burning forests. In the first place, the biggest challenge facing the world in coming years is that animals will suffer from loss of habitat, which may result in a serious decline in their population. For instance, a recent research carried out to determine how many creatures are becoming extinct shows that more than fifty rare species have vanished over the last decade. Another worrying issue may be that forests are a lung of the world as they assist to produce CO2 and absorb toxic fumes coming from factories or plants. As a consequence, if trees continue to burn, air pollution will increase.
However, there are a number of relevant solutions that can be taken by not only governments, but also individuals in order to sort out the problems mentioned above. The most ideal one is that any visitors to forests should be warned against using flammable items and warning labels must be hung in every square. In the second place, humans ought to plant trees to supplement diminishing forests, which helps to keep a balance in the ecology.
The main conclusion to be drawn from this essay is that even though a variety of issues have arisen owing to burning forests, not solely authorities, but also humans can overcome these difficulties best by cultivating trees to fill the forests.

Some people believe that robots will play an important role in future societies while others argue that robots might have negative effects on society.

Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

With the advancement of technology, building robots has been made a lot easier. However, the perspectives of whether they are useful for communities or not are varied.

Some individuals reckon that robots will be an asset for people in the future whereas others are not of the same opinion.
In the forthcoming paragraphs, both sides of the argument will be outlined together with my personal views.

To commence with, it is an undeniable fact that robots have become more crucial in saving labor-force in recent years. The reason is that robots are able to function for a full day without taking a break while humans cannot compete with them, tending to be exhausted after a long working day. Additionally, robotic devices are better at detecting flaws in technology, which a naked eye cannot recognize. The second biggest advantage of them is that they can be social aids to the elderly. For instance, in western societies, an increasing number of assistant robots are being recruited to serve the old when there is no one to look after them.

Conversely, there are a few disadvantages arising from the use of robots. Firstly, humans have become over-dependent on them to accomplish daily ordinary tasks, like cooking, cleaning a room and washing-up, which is leading to sedentary lifestyle and the rise in the number of obese people. Secondly, many worldwide big enterprises with thousands of employees have started to replace their workers with robots, making it difficult for workers to make a living. Take a factory called “Apple” as an example. It has more than 500 hundred robots to perform the tasks which were done by human staff previously.

In my view, the benefits brought by robots outweigh their downsides. For example, robots’ outstanding performance cannot be fulfilled by humans as they have become a major key to global success of technology. But for them, there would not be such a great progress now.

To conclude, even though robots may cause some serious problems, I do believe that not only people, but also plants should continue using them because of the advantages mentioned above.

      1. Leading to unemployment

  1. Generally useful, for the benefits they bring, making people’s lives far easier

he internet will bring about a new freedom of information and so narrow the technology gap between developed and developing countries.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

An easy access to any news will be made possible by the net, leading to the reduction in technological differences among the states whose rate of development is different. I agree with this view up to a point.

To commence with, there is less difference in the usage of the internet in different parts of the world now than in the past. To illustrate this, no matter where people are, with the aid of a smart gadget, they stand a chance to obtain any information in exchange for traffic or cash, making people not realize the gap between technologically advanced and advancing countries. Moreover, the internet has turned the world into a small place. Communication is one of the most significant breakthroughs in the 21st century, enabling humans to chat with each other over long distances. Take Afghanistan considered as underdeveloped as an example. It is possible to connect to a person staying in a remote part of the world regardless of technological improvements.

Conversely, there is not necessarily an opportunity to get any kind of information because of the restrictions put on those residing in nations under development. For instance, in Northern Korea, population is banned to enjoy surfing the net. Last but not the least, not all people, especially in countries of low rate of development, can afford to cover monthly phone bills, which can be a great hindrance for them to access the net.

To be concluded, even though technological differences cannot be totally eliminated by internet usage, it has been of high importance in the technology gap decreasing.

It is often held that teachers, peers, the media have a significant influence on the life of children. While some people argue that these factors are predominant in shaping a child’s future, others believe that parents impact their offspring in more critical ways.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Perspectives of whose role is far more crucial in determining how children’s future will be are varied. Whereas many reckon that the lives of the youth are heavily influenced by educators, fellows and mass media, other individuals assert that parental pressure is of great importance for their children. Both sides of the argument will be outlined with my own views.

To commence with, it is an undeniable fact that the majority of children’s time is spent with the companionship of mentors and peers, making a great contribution to the youth’s manner of behavior and formation of a personality. A recent survey reveals that the crime rate among youngsters in the USA has dramatically risen, most of which have been committed due to peer power. The impact of social media on teenagers’ characteristics cannot be overlooked. With an easy access to the internet, the number of hours spent on the net is ever-increasing, which enables them to copy socially-unacceptable behavior belonging to foreign nations.

Conversely, the youth are likely to obey their parents more than others owing to their dependence on them in terms of monetary purposes. That is why, parental instructions and upbringing are of significance to develop offspring’s outlook and future. Additionally, it is genetic factors which shape kids’ traits and ethic. Take the research conducted in Japan as an example. Nearly seventy percent of behavior and characteristics are formed by DNA of their parents.

As for my own opinion, the influence imposed by the media and peers is more significant because of inability of parents to allocate time on children’s upbringing. To illustrate this, the average amount of time under parental control is twice as little as that allocated on surfing the net and hanging out with friends.

To conclude, even though the main role of parents in shaping children’s future is more of a value, I do believe that it is the internet and peers whose impacts on the formation of children’s ideas are highly critical.
