AGREE OR DISAGREE
Some people think that universities should accept equal number of male and female students, regardless of knowledge or skills.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Nowadays, there is a widely held view that institutional organizations ought to teach the same number of both genders, no matter how their level of knowledge or expertise is. While there is some truth in this statement, I am not totally of the same opinion as the view above. In the forthcoming paragraphs, several rock-solid facts lending weight into my perspective will be outlined together with relevant examples.


To commence with, it is a well-known fact that there are at least two supporting reasons why universities must accept male and female student in equal numbers, one of which is that there are some fields where far more women than men are employed. To illustrate this, teaching and nursery are mainly occupied by women, which has a knock-on effect on the quality of teaching. This can be best exemplified by the survey carried out in Malaysia in 2017, which shows that it was not useful for the country to accept according to number.


On the contrary, it is worth bearing in mind that this notion cannot be always justified owing to its harmful effects on not solely governments, but also humans. The first thing to mention is that it may cause more knowledgeable students to lose their interest in learning. As a consequence, universities will lose their prospective cadres. The second point to consider is that if universities continue to accept a similar number of students of both genders, after they graduate, they cannot contribute to the development of a country with their competence.
The main conclusion to be drawn from this essay is that even though there is general agreement about the view given above, I do believe there are a few negative aspects stemming from this.
