the protection of the rights for new varieties of plants and new breeds of animals, 
the right of the author for a selection achievement, the rights and obligations of the 
patent owner. 
Moreover, the information about selection achievements is published in the 
Bulletin of the Intellectual Property Agency under the title “Information on 
selection achievements registered in the State Register of Plant Varieties and 
Animal Breeds”. It is obvious, that selection achievements include patents for new 
varieties or breeds as a result of research on “crop” and “animal husbandry”. 
Furthermore, it is approved by the international convention in the name of new 
varieties of plants.

In reliance upon the proposals specified above, we propose to rename 
Chapter 63 of the Civil Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan “Agricultural property 
(selection) rights”. In this chapter it is required to describe the procedure for the 
protection of rights in the field of “crop production” and “animal husbandry”, the 
right for labor remuneration related thereto and other rights. While ensuring 
compliance with the requirements of the authors to the Agency for creating new 
varieties and breeds in this area, the proposed procedurewill further simplify the 
possibility of their evaluation and entering in the books in accounting.
