After this session I have acquired the knowledge how to create a Google site where I can make my portfolio and share it. It is much easier than I expected, all we need is having access to internet, an electronic device such as a laptop ,a tablet ,or a telephone , however the most important thing is the personal desire to fulfill the task. I felt as if it is the first step to achieve the success in digital world like the founder of famous social network “Facebook” Mark Zuckerberg didn’t realized how the network for that university students can bring such fame after 18 years. Not only this web site, but also the app Jamboard that the teacher suggested was really helpful to make extraordinary presentation for my pupils.


Secondly, the teacher taught us the drawbacks of using plagiarized materials, some examples of situations whether they are considered plagiarism or not, and how to avoid from it. The best way to give a quotation, example , a piece of information, table of statistics, our notes from books is showing the references, because we are not the author of them. However, using readymade lessons plans ,activities in the classroom are not considered to be plagiarism due to the fact that we adapt this material into the class focusing on the learners’ grade, needs, preferences , interests.
Moreover, I got information the types of needs such target needs, situational needs, and learning needs. She gave a passage about a teacher starting to teach to a new group and she focused on all these needs mentioned above. Then I understood that before conducting the lesson I have to find out what are their weaknesses, do they have problem in grammar or speaking or in coherence and cohesion and so on. Why they are learning language, which skills do they need most at their workplace. What kind of learners they are: visual, auditory, or kinesthetic and I have to use relevant materials to their style
Finally, I learnt a technique to control the class: showing one hand that means we have to finish the discussion and clapping hands twice in reply. I started using it in my class, it would be better if I introduced this sign when I started the class two month ago, but any way it works. In the future I want use the “Think, pair and share” strategy when I work with learners from secondary classes or university students
