“We at South Brandywine Middle School are committed to providing a respectful, safe, and positive environment in which everyone is challenged to grow socially and academically.”
May 2016
Dear South Families,
The South Brandywine Middle School administration and staff cordially invite you to attend our Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony on Wednesday, June 8 2016 at 9:30 AM in the South Brandywine Middle School Auditorium. During this time, we will recognize the many outstanding achievements, accomplishments and contributions of our eighth grade students. Doors will open promptly at 9:15 AM for guest seating.
Since this is a very special event, we request that students dress appropriately. Uniform dress is not required. Please remember the regular Coatesville Area School District dress code policy is still in effect, specifically regarding length of skirts and width of shoulder straps. Strapless dresses, shorts, jeans, and sweat pants are not permitted. For your convenience, a copy of the CASD dress code policy is enclosed with this mailing. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Snyder or Mr. Bolden.
The South Brandywine Middle School staff and administration look forward to having you and your family as our guests as we celebrate and acknowledge our eighth grade students. Your attendance and support will help make this day of recognition a most memorable one. Kindly park in the front lot until all available spaces are taken. We will help to park cars in the front prior to the event. Please do not park in the oval in front of the school, that is the fire lane and we must keep that open in case of emergency.
We realize that you will want to celebrate with your child, but we ask that you please refrain from bringing balloons into the auditorium during the ceremony because they block the view of those around you. Thank you in advance and we look forward to sharing this special day with you on June 8th.
Sincerely,
Michele Snyder
Principal
