The importance of extra-curricular activities in teaching English
This type of work does not only deepen and broaden the knowledge of a foreign language, but 
it also helps to expand the cultural horizons of pupils, develops their creativity, form aesthetic 
taste, and as a result , increases the motivation to learning the language and the culture of another 
country.
Teachers must realize that their success in foreign language teaching depends to a great extent 
on.what.interest.they.can.evoke.in.their.pupils..
The role of a teacher in organizing extra-curricular activities
The teacher must be a good planner so that the different activities could be carried out
systematically.throughout.the.year..
It should be the duty of the teacher to give more and more opportunity to the child while 
performing.extra-curricular.activities..
The.Teacher.should.act.as.innovator.by.introducing.some.innovative.programmes..
The.teacher.must.be..a.good.organiser.so.that..the.students.experienced.maximum.of.it..
He should too act like as director, recorder, evaluator, manager, decision maker, advisor, 
motivator, communicator, coordinator, so that the student and child could gained maximum of 
finer.aspects.of.extra-curricular.activities..

Individual working
in teams develop a greater understanding of the variety of approaches that 
can.be.used.to.accomplish.any.given.task..This.understanding.of.diversity.is.an.advantage.that.
has.social.significance.beyond.the.classroom.
