Lavender is one of most prominent flowers in my country. It comes with a 
gorgeous look. This is mostly an ornamental flower but has some other 
benefits as well. This is a pleasant question for me. Thank you for asking it. I 
will describe the flower in brief now.
Lavender is also known as Lavandula. This is flowering plant and belongs to the 
mint family. Thus the smell of the flower is completely different from the other 
flower plants. The flowers are grown both commercially and individual level. 
When it is cultivated in private level, it is aimed to use the flowers for 
decorative purposes only. But when it is on the commercial level, the purposes 
are dissimilar like extraction of oils etc.
Lavender is available around the world in various quantity. It mostly requires a 
temperate climate. And so the places with temperate weather are most 
suitable to grow the plants. Hence, it is mostly found in the European region. 
Besides, the plant is also available in some parts of Africa, Mediterranean 
regions, some places of Cape Verde, Canary Islands, some parts of Asia and 
India. The cultivation process is dissimilar than other flower plants. Growing 
lavender needs an open space and the right amount of sunlight.

more attractive to people. The flower hue brings a sense of peace inside my 
mind. Cooking with lavender helps to bring an exceptional test to the foods. 
The foods smell like lemon or citrus when lavender buds are applied on it. The 
lavender oil is also beneficial for removing sleep disturbances too. Most 
importantly, the lavender fields look really striking when the flowers are 
bloomed. For all such reasons, this is my preferable flower and I have a 
moderate garden where the plants are greatly taken care of.
