Importance of research: Chemistry of heterocyclic compounds is rapidly developing, which is 
connected with the physiological properties of these compounds. Among them, there are highly 
effective medicinal products, chemical means of plant protection against pests of diseases and 
weeds, chemical means of protecting animals from ectoparasites.One of the important classes of 
hydrocyclic compounds is quinazoline derivatives. The share of quinazolin-4 occupying a special 
place in the form of the possibility of tautomeric transformations and the associated reactions of 
nucleophilic and electrophilic substitution is relatively small in the total volume of these 
publications. Therefore, it was important and interesting to study the reactions of nucleophilic 
substitution of 2,4-substituted quinazolines with malonic ester.
