Industrial Pharmacy is a discipline which includes manufacturing, development, marketing and 
distribution of drug products including quality assurance of this activities. This broad research to 
different function in pharmaceutical industry and having contact areas with engineering and 
economists. 
As you know this is a dramatic rise in the sphere of the industrial pharmacy in our republic 
nowadays. All the medical drugs are manufactured by our local companies and factories. And It is 
commonly know fact that the quantity of finished medicines is over 90- 95% of all production in 
Uzbekistan. There are some examples of farm companies. 
The growth trends. The graph shows the growth trends of the industrial pharmacy in Uzbekistan 
from 1991 to 2017. According to the graph, there were 3 industrial factories in Uzbekistan in 1991. 
And this rate rose significantly between 1996 and 2001. Then there was a sudden increase in the 
number of factories from 35 to 91. In 2011 this scale increased sharply to 126. And now 138 
industrial factories manufacture their products and distribute them all over Uzbekistan, export them 
abroad. 
GMP. Every pharmaceutical company strives to get GMP. What is it? Good Manufacturing 
Practice (GMP) is a system for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled 
according to quality standards. It is designed to minimize the risks involved in any pharmaceutical 
production that cannot be eliminated through testing the final product.
As an example of GMP possessor I would like to present Nika Pharm. 
Pharmaceutical company Nika Pharm is a branch establishment of “ Asklepiy” was founded on

of July in 2006. There are some original preparations of NikaPharm, that are produced since 
2006.
