Conclusions: 1. The quality analysis method for the capsule of “Iodine-
β-CD” was invented for the
first time.
2. Quantity determination of the iodine is also conducted and developed the method using
Ultraviolent spectrophotometer.
3. On the basis of the results of the experiments concluded that the mass of the capsule of “Iodine-
β-CD” has satisfactory characteristics.

Introduction.
High molecular alcohols obtained by telomerization of ethylene with primary
alcohols such as methanol, ethanol, propanol, butanol are semifinished products for surface active
substances.

bytelomerization of ethylene with the butanol are used in the synthesis of
surfactants. The telomeric alcohol fraction is sulphated with concentrated sulfuric acid and sulpho-
ethers are obtained.

Material and methods.
Experimental part:
Reagents: telomeric alcohol 40.25 g (0.25 mol), sulfuric acid is 95-98% lipid51 g (0.5 mol), sodium
bicarbonate 40 g.
Devices: round bottom flask with 250 ml, 800 ml glass, Buckhner funnel, Bunzen flask and flask
for hot rolled filter.
The round bottom flask of 250 ml contains 51 g of concentrated sulfuric acid and is mixed
thoroughly every 3 minutes with 40.25 g of telomeric alcohol in a chloroform solution. After
complete melting, the rest of the alcohol is added. At the beginning of the reaction, the reaction
mixture is brought to a cold water bath and the temperature is maintained at 40-
50˚C. The reaction
takes 15-20 minutes. When the reaction has finished, it is cooled to room temperature and stirred
carefully into a 400 ml cold water bottle. In this process the solution is heated. After cooling slowly,
sodium bicarbonate is added. Sodium bicarbonate neutralized telomeric alcohol with sodium salts
was removed from the original homogeneous material and washed with acetone.
