Overall, communication is the most popular feature of mobiles with the prominent figure for calling and text messages functions in the given years. Apart from making calls and playing games, there is an increasing pattern in the figures for all other functions through three years.

The figure for making calls exceeded those for other features at 100 in the two beginning years before a slight decline to 99 in 2010. Following that was sending and receiving text messages which experienced a gradual rise from73 in 2006 to 79 in 2010. Similarly, taking photos and palying music went up by 10 and 14, respectively in the given years. On the other hand, playing games witnessed a tender drop in 2010 to 41 after a substantial rise of 25 in 2008.

There was a significant growth in the figures for searching the Internet and recording video. While there was no data in 2006, the figures for these two features was 41 and 9 , respectively in 2008. In 2010, while the figure for the former remarkably climbed to 73, that of the latter almost rose 4 times to 35.
