The Internet is the greatest world informational network. It is very popular among people and in modern times, so it is hard to imagine our life without it. As it happens with any popular notion, there are different opinions about it. Some people think that the Internet is harmful. However, the others believe that the Internet is a very important and useful thing.

In my opinion, the Internet is a convenient and useful network. It is a place where people can communicate with their friends, look for interesting and necessary information, discover useful facts, share interesting photos and much more. For example, if I have any questions, I can easily ask them in a search engine on the Internet, and then I will get thorough and complete answers to them. Or if I need to send some important information to my friend urgently, I can send a letter to his electronic post or contact him on social network.

However, as it was stated some people believe that the Internet can be harmful. The main disadvantage of it is that it can make people addictive. Children, teenagers and even adults can get hooked on the variety of information that the internet can offer us. They may spend hours and hours scrolling through social networks or different websites. Or they can waste their time playing online games or doing some other useless things.

So, is the Internet good or bad? In my opinion, the Internet is a good and useful thing when people use it thoroughly. If we use it wisely even games and social networks can benefit. Therefore our main goal is to understand which traits of the Internet are good and which is bad and control their usage for ourselves.
