Alonso (2011) the article  “Students to employee” writes about becoming students to 

workers. Alonso(2011) writes about the differences between school and work and transition 

in the working world. 

The school requests permanent memorization of teaching materials. It is one of the standard 

education systems. Most pupils learn according to the principle: homework, classwork, tests, 

and exam. This system does not provide opportunities for the development of important 

skills. Alonso(2011) writes about important points for future company staff: teamwork and 

analytical thinking. Also, writer Lewis discusses school study and work processes. About 

their differences. For instance,  at school people study according to the learning to 

memorize, while at work people try to act quickly. Alonso(2011) gives an example of Ryan 

who is moving from the study field to the world of the labor market.  

 The first aspect is analytical thinking, Alonso(2011) suggests this is a student's problem, 

because during the study students had not the opportunity to analytically think, and it is 

necessary for the working process.  I agree with the author because analytical thinking will 

help students in the company. Analytical thinking is a significant plus for each student. 

Moreover, such kind of skill can be utilized by students in their future business as well as can 

help them significantly in their carrier. 

The second aspect is teamwork. The author writes about teamwork being a large difficulty. I 

absolutely disagree, I think students and employees who collaborate with others, succeed 

more and quicker. Despite, it is not being easy, students try to manage this   Work in a group 

allows people to complete a task more quickly. Because each member of the group knows 

their responsibilities and tries to fulfill them. Also, teamwork is useful, because, if someone 

can not solve a problem another can help, and they will solve it together, According to 

Everard and Morris (1990), “Group and team are not the same”. Teamwork includes listening 

to other teammates, Working as a whole for the benefit of the community. Effective 

collaboration is one where the particular talents and skills of everyone help the team 

accomplish a common mission most productively. In the modern world collaborating is 

needed in every company  

In conclusion, future employees will be useful to develop their knowledge and skills for the 

future professional job. Their qualification will open opportunities for them and they will be in 

demand.
