Objectives: By the end of the lesson pupils will Be able know what is music Be able to distinguish types of music (Pop, dance pop, latin pop, rap and opera) Be able to realize what music they really like Be able to know new vocabulary and improve listening skill

Procedure Time: 10 minutes Lead in Introduce yourself Check attendance of pupils according to the list Ask pupils to make 1 minute speech about themselves
Pre-part of the lesson Activity1. Objective: present overview of the lesson and give general information about music Time: 10 minutes Steps of the activity Ask question What kind of music you listen Explain what is music This explain should give answers to these questions a. What is the title of the music b. What genres has the music c. When did music appear d. How does music affect people e. Why music is music especially important for kids f. Can we communicate with music d. How to better understand the language of music 3. In order to remember information ask to pupils tell the information which they liked the most
While-part of the lesson Activity 2. Objective: To introduce types of music Time: 15 minutes Steps of activity 1.Ask students: what is your favorite music do you know its genre 2.Introduce main types of music 3.Pupils should work in pairs with their deskmate and match types of music which are given in the picture 4.Check answers
Post-part of the lesson Activity 3. Objective: Practice listening and vocabulary Time: 7 minutes Steps of activity Pupils listen to the music and should find the new words which are dropped After checking the answers, they will learn the meaning of the new words and they should make a sentence by using them.
Closing part ( 3minutes) Summarize major points of lesson Homework 1.Revise all material of the lesson 2. Remember by heart all the new vocabulary of the lesson
