INTRODUCTION
The study of enterprise development is especially relevant today. In the countries of Western Europe and America, the system of studying organizations is appreciated, but in Russia this has not been fully explored, but Russian economists have already begun to develop a system for studying firms, applying the models of Western colleagues to Russian activities. In management theory, a trend is actively formed, the main meaning of which is to consider an enterprise as an object growing over time, with its own established life cycle.
One of the ideas of this theory makes sense is that of the companies that are formed every day, not all can achieve their goals and achieve the desired result. Only a few firms are able to function for a long time, while none of them live without changes.
Enterprises that have not been able to adapt to a change in the external environment, as a rule, perish. However, if the management of the firm is able to anticipate and correctly respond to changing circumstances, it will certainly succeed. Although it is worth noting that for successful management of the company it is not enough to be able to predict events, the authorities also need to know at what stage of its development the enterprise is in order to focus efforts on those goals that need to be achieved and realized at this level.
In other words, no organizational life by itself implies the imminent death of the firm.
The relevance of this work is explained by the fact that managers need to devote enough time to the theoretical tasks of the functioning of the organization. This is necessary so that the ways of development proposed by managers coincide with the level of natural development of the organization. The use of life cycle theories in determining the development trends of an enterprise makes it possible to more effectively predict the internal changes that await the company. In addition, in order to achieve the desired result of management, the manager must take into account the details of the theory of the life cycle of the organization that appear in the process of new research.
The purpose of this course work is to define the concept of the life cycle of an enterprise and analyze the stages of development that a company goes through during its existence.
To achieve this goal, the author has set the following tasks:
- analyze the stages and stages of the life cycle of the organization and highlight their features;
- to study the characteristic features of management at each stage of the life cycle of the organization;
- determine how the goals of the enterprise depend on the stage of its life cycle.
Structurally, this course work consists of an introduction, three chapters, divided in turn into six paragraphs, a conclusion and a list of references.
