I am writing to apply for Master program in Economics at Friedrich Schiller University Jena starting in winter 2022

I am writing to apply for Master program in Economics at Friedrich Schiller University Jena starting in winter 2022. This July, I hope to graduate from Samarkand Institute of Economics and Services majoring in Accounting and Auditing bachelor program.
During my studies I have developed special interest for the Finance and Economics, because I perceive both disciplines to be concerned with building and maintaining a business strategy that leads to success. I was especially fascinated with the strategies companies used to adapt to changes in consumers’ expectations and needs and how they maintain profitable business in rigorous environment. Therefore I see that advanced study on these topics presents an exciting challenge which I want to pursue in my future.
Since I highly value globalization process I have always wanted career in Economics. Due to the current shortage of qualified employees in international companies, I would like to become a professional in Economics with a wide practical and theoretical base.
As a step to my goal, I have conducted several research projects. Through the research on financial diagnostics of an enterprise I learned tools and methods for analysis of financial health of a local enterprise. As a result of the research I have found out that in order to survive and be lucrative, the international company has to be extremely flexible and adaptive to competitive environment. In that line I have designed the proposal for my Bachelor thesis, and I plan to do a research on adaptation strategies international companies utilize for German companies.
My first exposure to real life work in the field of accounting was an internship in a local gas supply company in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. The internship gave me an excellent insight into the company, since I had an outstanding opportunity to explore different working methods and practice the knowledge I gained at university. I have gathered good communication skills.
I believe that with my work and studies I have a solid foundation, but through the Master’s program I hope to develop expertise in Accounting.
