Introduction.
One can imagine a society that does not know tears and sorrows, but it is difficult to imagine a society without laughter . Laughter is a much more accessible subject for study than subjects studied by others, in particular, by the natural sciences. The explanatory dictionary of the Russian language explains: “Laughter is short and strong exhalation movements with the mouth open, accompanied by characteristic impetuous sounds ... In fact, laughter, as N. Shchedrin noted, is a very powerful weapon, because nothing discourages vice as much as consciousness, which he was guessed and that laughter had already been heard about him. AI Herzen wrote that laughter is one of the most powerful weapons of destruction; Voltaire's laughter beat, burned like lightning. Idols fall from laughter, wreaths and salaries fall, and the miraculous icon becomes a blackened and poorly drawn picture. For V. Mayakovsky, sharpness is “a weapon of the most beloved kind.” Chaplin argues that for our era, humor is an antidote to hatred and fear. It dispels the fog of suspicion and anxiety that has now enveloped the world. Laughter is always with us, always. However, practical research on the funny began a little over 100 years ago. Not only philosophers, but also sociologists, psychologists, linguists and professional comedians began to study the issue: writers, artists, journalists. This circumstance prompted the study of the features of the emergence of humorous and satirical genres. Thus, the object of the course work is humor and satire, the subject of the means of creating a humorous and satirical effect. The purpose of the work is to identify and analyze the means of expressing humor and satire. The purpose of the study led to the formulation of the following tasks: 1. To analyze the concept of "humor" and "satire" as a phenomenon; 2. Consider satirical genres; 3. Consider humorous genres; 4. Analyze humor and satire in modern journalism.
