III. Answers the questions:
1. What do the contractions o f the heart produce? The rhythmic contraction of the heart is the result of its self-fulfilling impulses. It is rhythmically shortened when isolated and consumed under appropriate conditions. This feature of the heart is called automation.
2. What is the cardiac cycle composed of? Cardiac cycle, a sequence of events that occur during a heartbeat. Below are the two stages of the cardiac cycle: Diastolic Phase - The ventricles of the heart are relaxed and the heart is filled with blood. Systole Phase - contracts with the abdominal cavity and blood is pumped into the arteries.
3. What is the role of the ventricles and atria? In the pulse curve of the aorta and large arteries there is one main part, the rise (anacrota) and the fall (catacrota). In the catacrota section, insuzura and dichroic ascents can be seen. Insensitivity and dichroism are associated with the reversal of blood flow at the beginning of ventricular diastole, which closes the lids and returns.
4. Describe the pulmonary circulation. The lungs have vessels connected to both circulatory systems. The arteries and veins of the lungs are much shorter and wider in diameter than the vessels of the greater circulation. This means that the blood flow in the pulmonary arteries is uneven and depends on the condition of the body.
