Health matters
Health comes first. If you are in good health, everything will fall into place.
Similarly, health care depends on many factors. It ranges from the air you breathe to the type of people you choose to spend your time with. Health has many components that are equally important. If one of them is lost, the person will not be completely healthy.
Ingredients for good health
First, we have physical health. This means being physically healthy and not having any illness or disease. When you are in good physical health, you will live longer. A person can maintain their physical health through a balanced diet. Don’t miss important nutrients; take each of them in an appropriate amount.
Second, you need to exercise every day. It may only take ten minutes, but never miss it. This helps your body maintain physical fitness. Also, don’t always eat junk food. Do not smoke or drink, as this can lead to serious harmful consequences. Lastly, try to get enough sleep on a regular basis instead of using your phone.
Next, we talk about our mental health. Mental health is the psychological and emotional state of a person. A person’s mental health affects his or her emotions and way of dealing with situations. We need to maintain our mental health by being positive and meditating.
Further, social health and cognitive health are equally important for a person’s overall well-being. A person can maintain their social health when they communicate well with others. In addition, if a person is friendly with us and attends public meetings, he will definitely have good social health. Similarly, our cognitive health means the efficient execution of mental processes. To do this, you always need to play mental games like chess, puzzles, etc. to eat healthy and sharpen your brain.
Physical health alone is not everything
There is this stigma surrounding mental health. People do not take mental illness seriously. To be completely healthy, a person must also be mentally healthy. When people completely discredit mental illness, it has a negative impact.
For example, you would never tell a person with cancer that overcoming it and that it was all in his head compared to a person dealing with depression. Similarly, we need to treat mental health as physical health.
Parents always take care of their children’s physical needs. They feed them with nutritious food and always bandage their wounds immediately. However, they do not notice that the child’s mental health has deteriorated. Often so, because they don’t pay much attention to it. This is due to the lack of information among the people.
Even among adults, you never know a person’s mental state.
Thus, we need to recognize the symptoms of mental illness. A laughing man is not equal to a happy man. We should not consider mental illness a taboo and pay due attention to it in order to save people’s lives.
