As a citizen of the World, one can move from one place to another especially, when homeland is worn out by relentless and ruthless economic attacks. Being from Uzbekistan I experienced many challenges mostly money-oriented ones as my country facing economic challenges resulted by COVID-19 pandemic. Due to the pandemic started from 2020 in Uzbekistan, many businesses suffered a lot;

- Ones being forced to stop manufacturing under the pandemic circumstances,
- The others swallowed bitter pills for being strongly addicted to tourism related businesses.
Uzbekistan is a country that under the Soviet Union has gained its independence only in 1991. Since then it was a developing country in every aspect of economy and living standards were increasing following the average pace of growth. Nevertheless, when COVID-19 chopped off the branches of “economy tree” of Uzbekistan the whole nation suffered from it. Nearly 30 to 40% of work force of Uzbekistan leaves the country annually in search of jobs, income and better lives. One of the biggest occasions in humanity history - a global pandemic caused in our people to return back home increasing unemployment rates in Uzbekistan. Another, big deal is inflation of Uzbek Sum. National currency is being degraded because of the low foreign currency turnover and very low GDP resulted by pandemic. In general the whole world has seen a drastic decrease in economies while, when it comes to the countries like Uzbekistan and alike – countries with the status of “developing countries” are practicing difficulty on recovery.
To sum this all negativity, I would say one last thing – pandemic, natural disasters and any other global-level catastrophes can be addressed and solved-out if the approach and strategy is chosen correctly, and the leaders of the governing bodies of any particular state/country, be it Uzbekistan or any other are coming up with the working idea, rather than thinking about own stomach.
