MODULAR TRAINING IN TEACHING HUMAN ANATOMY

Purpose of study: To explore the importance and necessity of modular 
system on the example of teaching human anatomy 
Materials and methods: To study in details test-module program of 
Malaysia University, Oxford University and some Universities of Russia,

without copying their data in detail and not adhering to their point of view. Only 
suitable thing have been adopted our program. Results of foreign group’s 
students have been studied in our institute.
Results. Test-module program is acceptable for department of Human 
anatomy, but needs some corrections in terms of preparing of plan. First 
modular group, consist of 4 students show high results: two students got “5” and 
two others “4”- this shows 100% of quality. As any other programs, test-
modular studying has its own pros and cons, which will be worked out during 
learning process.
Anatomic knowledge having an increasing influence on the development of 
medicine, is known as a first stage of medicine. Anatomy is known as a 
foundation of medical education. Famous Russian scientist O.Mukhin had 
written, “the doctor who is not anatomist not only useless but harmful”. This is 
why it is important for a future doctor to know and learn human anatomy. On 
the basis of anatomical knowledge, in subsequent study all other subjects of 
biomedical and clinical profile, clinical reasoning of doctor is being formed. On 
this basis it justifies the study of anatomy from 1-st thinking course.
Materials and methods
