RESUME (abstract of PhD thesis) 
 
The aim of research work it consists of the development of proposals and 
recommendations for the development of the region's economy on the basis of the 
activity of free economic zones. 
The objects of research are the first free economic zones in the country - 
Navoi, Angren and Jizzakh. 
The scientific novelty of the research work comprised of following: 
taking into account the direct impact of free economic zones on the 
development of the regions, based on the priority development of industrial 
cooperation in the regions based on innovative technologies, mechanical 
engineering, electrical engineering and chemistry; 
It is proposed to increase the efficiency of free economic zones in Navoi, 
Tashkent and Jizzakh regions on the basis of balanced development of production 
and infrastructure, as well as ensuring investment activity; 
based on increasing the responsibility and expanding the responsibilities of 
local authorities in the efficient use of water, land and labor resources to coordinate 
the powers of ministries, zone directorates and regions in order to increase the 
efficiency of the management system of free economic zones; 
Based on the effective use of the potential of free economic zones as a point 
of socio-economic growth, forecast parameters for Navoi, Tashkent and Jizzakh 
regions until 2030 have been developed.
