As you know, recently the industrial production of stone paper and the 
general growing trend of its use in various industries, services and in everyday 
life, predetermine the successful future of this new generation of sheet material. 
The basis of this material is calcium carbonate (CaCO
3
) - on average up to 80% 
and polyethylene granules - 20%. The natural mineral resource base of the 
Republic of Uzbekistan has relatively large reserves of calcium-containing and 
carbonate mineral resources. At present, the entire volume of extracted and 
processed calcium-containing raw materials in the republic is limited to its use in 
the production of building facing stone, cement, dry building mixtures and 
mortars, additives in feed for animal husbandry and partly in other areas in small 
volumes. The originator of the stone paper technology is Lung Meng Technology 
(TLM) from Taiwan, which has launched an environmentally friendly process to 
produce high quality paper from waste marble. The newly organized production 
of "stone paper" in the city of Fergana (Fergana region), through the creation of a 
joint venture "Fergana stone paper" LTD, with a production capacity of
9 thousand tons per year, and a wide interest shown both in the republic and 
abroad in its production dictates the expediency of increasing capacities and 
expanding the raw material base for production. The main advantage of this 
material is that it absorbs an average of 20% less ink compared to ordinary paper,
