INTRODUCTION (Dissertation abstract) 
 
The aim of the research 
is to identify, evaluate the regional features of the 
development of demographic processes in the Andijan, Namangan and Fergana 
regions and scientifically substantiate the main directions of the demographic 
development of the regions. 
The object of the study 
was the population and demographic processes of 
Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions were obtained 
The scientific novelty of the research is 
as follows: 
in Andijan, Namangan and Fergana regions, where natural population growth 
is high, the dynamics of the correlation (R = 0.49… R = 0.65) (2010-2020 yy.)
between marriage and fertility has been determined; 
a demographic zoning and a map using the GAT technology in the Fergana 
Valley were created based on the principles of complexity, historical and territorial 
integrity of territories with similar birth rates, death rates and natural population 
growth; 
using the “age shift” method, forecast parameters of population size, weight, 
demographic processes (births, deaths, marriages and divorces), sex, age and 
territorial composition of the regions of the Fergana Valley until 2040 were 
developed; 
the directions of "geodemographic waves" arising from the regional 
distribution of declining natural population movements have been identified; 
promising parameters for the development of regional demographic processes 
(territorial reorganization of the population, life expectancy and an increase in 
demographic pressure) have been developed.
