After 30 years of civil war between leftist guerrillas and the Colombian 
government, the dominant rebel group FARC is known mainly for violence. Police, 
government officials, and rural villagers have been murdered in the name of 
revolution, while drug traffickers have been protected. But as the government and the 
Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia inch toward a possible peace agreement, 
the guerrillas are trying to polish their image. Supporters claim that they have cracked
