Like everybody else, I also like receiving gifts whether there is an occasion for it or not. But, of course, receiving it on a special occasion makes it even more special. Now, please don’t get me wrong when I say that I am rather sceptical about receiving clothing items as gifts, mainly because they don’t quite fit on me most of the times. And even when those clothing gift items fit me, I usually find them way off base from my personal taste. In fact, there have only been two people in my whole life who could really pick out the best clothes that I like with consistency. One of them is my mother and the other one is an uncle of mine. All other people fail for the most part when it comes to picking up a perfect clothing gift item for me. But, a couple of years ago, one of my co-workers surprised me with his pick of a winter jacket which he gave me as a gift on my 29th birthday. To be honest, this was one of the best winter jackets I had ever seen up and until that point. It didn’t only fit me perfectly, but also looked very classy and elegant with its distinguished, shiny navy blue colour. Just from the look of it, one could easily understand that it was an expensive jacket, which was made with some top-class fabrics. On top of that, it was also waterproof and light to carry. By the way, I became so happy with the gift of my co-worker that I actually promised him to buy a perfect gift for him at a later time. Anyway, the winter jacket was an important clothing item for me, mainly because it didn’t only help me feel comfortable during the winter but also allowed me to make a fashion statement to other people. Besides, the gift also brought back some sort of confidence in other people who wanted to offer me clothing items as a gift.

In this century everyone uses the Internet and has an account on social media. People have different interests, so they follow different people, pages or online industries. I also have an account on the social media website. I am interested in fashion design. interior design, celebrities such as politicians. movie stars and art and crafts. So for that, I follow those people on social media who provide me with information on those areas. Today I would like to talk about a famous person whom I follow social media. His name is Barack Hussein Obama. He served as the 44th president of the United States from 2009 to 2017. He is an American politician, lawyer and author. He was the first African-American president of the United States. Not only I even everyone know this famous personality. He is active on various social sites such as Twitter. Instagram, Facebook and so on. I am following Twitter. He posts motivational thoughts. describes his new books. From his social information. I read several of his books (A Promised Land. The Audacity of Hope, etc.) which are inspiring. He is not just a good speaker but an excellent listener. He shared a message on Twitter that is “I wanted to share a few of those stories, and also hear about the work you’ve done to create change”. I want to know about his latest updates so I check my social account daily. He Uploads all the most recent pictures to Instagram. He is a very down-to-earth person and is still trying to respond to most of the Tweets he receives. I like this person, that’s why I follow him on social media.
