I love travelling and always visit new places whenever I have time. I have visited many places. Some are famous for their history and culture, while others are famous for their fascinating architecture. Today I would like to talk about a recently visited location on the south side of India. Last year I went to Karnataka during the summer vacation. Visited Mysore Palace. Also known as Amba Vilas Palace. Royal Palace (house) in Mysore, Karnataka, India. The palace is in the center of Mysore, facing east to Chamundi Hills. One of my school/university teachers is from Karnataka. She told me about the beauty of the place, so I went there. In addition, Mysore Palace is one of India’s most famous tourist attractions after the Taj Mahal, with more than 6 million visitors annually. The architectural style of the palace dome, commonly referred to as the Indian spiral, is a mixture of Hindu, Mughal, Rajput and Gothic styles. A three-story stone building with a marble dome and a 145-foot five-story tower. The palace is surrounded by a large garden. The roof artwork is great. The artists had worked perfectly. I was surprised at the beauty of the place. I suggested my friends visit the palace.

Well, every school enacts hundreds of rules to discipline the students and my school was not an exception. Though most rules were defined to benefit us in some way yet I found one rule extremely unfair and that was of no half-day and no color dress on Saturday. The fact it that in almost every school in my city Saturday is always a half-day at school and students wait for this day eagerly as they get released for school around 12 instead of 3 pm. But, It was not in the case of my school. We had to attend the school as other days on Saturday too. On top of it, there was an additional fine for not attending the school on Saturday as teachers used to take surprise on this day. As a result, I could never go out on a weekend break with my family. In addition, we had to wear school uniform all 6 days of the week. Where other school children could wear clothes of their choice on this day we again had to wear uniform only which always gave them a reason to laugh on us and annoy us. I was in uniform all the time and for that reason my parents rarely got me new clothes. I can never forget that sometimes, after school on Saturdays sometimes my parents used to pick me to watch movie in cinema and I used to be the only person at cinema in uniform which used to be quite embarrassing but for movie I could manage that. Overall, like most other students I was not happy at all with this rule at my school.
