Introduction
The social and economic changes that have taken place in the world over recent years have led to the new requirements for the specialists in different scientific fields, including teachers. Nowadays, the role and influence of English are gaining a higher speed in the world as well as in Uzbekistan. The main factors for this phenomenon include expanding communication with the world after gaining the independence and increasing speed and scope of information exchange in the global village. Today, in the Republic of Uzbekistan great attention is given to the radical reorganization of the educational system that will give an opportunity to raise it to the level of modern standards. In order to realize the aims and tasks put forward by the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan "On Education" (1997) and the “National Programme of Personnel Training” (1997) the complex system of reorganizing the structure and the content of personnel training, proceeding from perspectives of the social, economic development of the society, contemporary achievements of science, culture, technique and technology are being created in the country. The National Program for Personnel Training is being implemented in the country step by step. Within the framework of this Program the system of continuous education is being developed, a system which starts with pre-school provision. Nowadays the graduates in methodology have to work under demanding conditions, analyse the current economic processes and find effective ways to solve the problems, possess leadership skills, be good at creative work and decision-making. The professional qualities of the students in teaching are developed not only by professional disciplines but also general subjects such as the foreign languages play an important role too . In order to achieve these goals, foreign language teaching should include different methods; however, the main innovations are connected with the use of the entire grammatical system of the target language. Therefore, these methods are aimed at the interaction between not only students and the teacher but also with each other, it requires an active role of students in the learning process . The purpose of the interactive learning is to create the special conditions leading to the involvement of all students in the learning process when the participants can understand and realise everything that happens, influence each other and make their own contribution having established the friendly and mutually supportive relationship. Thanks to the use of the interactive learning methods the students in teaching are taught to think critically, discuss, analyse the conditions and solve difficult problems related to their future professional activity, evaluate opposite opinions, make informed decisions. They develop communicative skills, logical thinking and different types of intellectual activity such as analysis, synthesis, comparison, and generalisation . These student-centred methods are highly appropriate, particularly for involving students more actively in acquiring knowledge, skills and strategies. In order to achive the aims by using the modern teaching methods it is essential for the instructors to know and can analize grammatical features of the language including the article. That is why in this project the process of the definite and indefinite articles of the language will be analized.
