Prezentatsiya The concept and types of IT products An IT product is understood as a complex of software, hardware and/or information technology hardware that provides certain functionality and is intended for use or inclusion in various IT systems. This is a product obtained with the help of information technology: a software product, mobile devices, application or system program. An IT product has a cost and can be sold, implemented or leased for a set period of time to a consumer (individual or company). Signs of classification of IT products: degree of information technology coverage of management tasks; category of implemented technological operations; serving subject areas. According to the method of implementation, traditional and modern IT are distinguished. The former are aimed at reducing the complexity of users, and the latter provide information support for management processes in real time According to the second feature, electronic information processing and automation of control functions are distinguished. The latter type includes decision support, expert support, and e-offices. According to the category of implemented technological operations, work with word and spreadsheet processors and various graphic objects, database management systems, multimedia and hypertext systems are distinguished. By type of information interface - information and computing resources with authorized access to them by users. They include: batch (the user can influence the data processing process in automatic mode); network IT (thanks to the developed means of communication, access to information and computing resources that are distributed geographically); interactive (the ability to unlimitedly use information resources that are stored in real time in the system). There is a new global trade agreement that will make IT products cheaper. More than 50 countries agreed to end tariffs and import duties on over 200 IT products. All 28 countries from the European Union signed, as well as China, Japan, South Korea, the U.S. and others. The deal was signed at a World Trade Organization meeting in Geneva. It will affect a wide variety of products, including smartphones, digital cameras, ink cartridges, video game consoles and even telecommunications satellites. Import duties will be completely removed from the selected IT products in the next four years. The deal applies to $1.3 trillion worth of global trade. This is about 7 per cent of all world trade.
