Section 282c 
1.  Conspiracy to commit the serious offence defined in section 282b shall be liable to a term of 
imprisonment not exceeding ten years or a fine of the fifth category. 
2.  Section 96(2) shall apply mutatis mutandis. 
Section 283 
1.  Any person who, through negligence, causes the unlawful deprivation of liberty of another person 
or causes its continuance shall be liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding six months or a 
fine of the second category. 
2.   If the offence results in grievous bodily harm, the offender shall be liable to a term of imprisonment 
not exceeding one year or a fine of the third category. 
3.   If the offence results in death, he shall be liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding two years 
or a fine of the fourth category.
