Section 117
1. An attack on the life or liberty of an internationally protected person shall be punishable by a term
of imprisonment not exceeding twelve years or a fine of the fifth category.
2. If the attack on the life of the aforementioned person results in death or is committed with
premeditation, it shall be punishable by life imprisonment or a determinate term of imprisonment
not exceeding thirty years or a fine of the fifth category.
Section 117a
Each act of physical violence against the person of an internationally protected person which does not
fall under a more severe penal provision shall be punishable by a term of imprisonment not exceeding
three years or a fine of the fourth category.
Section 117b
Any person who intentionally commits an act of violence against the protected property of an
internationally protected person shall, if this act is likely to endanger the safety or freedom of that
person, be liable to a term of imprisonment not exceeding eight years or a fine of the fifth category.
