I was never cut out to be an engineer. I just can't do the maths. So, yes, on the whole I think changing over to product design was the right decision for me.

Basically, it allows me to pursue my interest in music and keep my job in the recording studio. It's not so intense either. I've got time to think about what I'm learning, absorb it at my own pace.
