MY FRIEND TED.
It is very important to have friends. During our life we communicate with a great number of people. Of course, not all of them are our friends. As a rule, there are only several people whom we can really trust. Ted is my bosom friend. We know each other since our childhood and we live in the same block of flats. Ted is a tall, good-looking boy. He has got fair hair, blue eyes, a straight nose and thin lips. He is seventeen and he is very responsible. He is honest and just. He never lets people down. He is tactful, emotionally stable and witty. I trust him a lot and I'm sure that I can rely on him in any situation. Не is fond of music, and he collects CDs. Today, he has got more than one hundred compact discs of his favourite groups and singers. It seems to me that he is very proud of his collection. Ted always tries to find out everything about the singers he likes. That's why he reads a lot of specialized magazines and books on the history of rock. Ted is the only child in the family and his parents love him very much. His father is a doctor. He is the most brilliant man I've ever met. For all the questions he has answers. His mother is a teacher of English. She works at the University. We spend a lot of time together. We watch video, listen to music or go to the cinema. We like to walk around the centre of the town, visit small cafes, museums, or shops. We talk for hours about all sorts of things: politics, love, teachers, girls. We discuss films, television programs, books. Ted is an easy-going person, but if there is some misunderstanding between us we try to make it up at once. What I like best about him is that he is always willing to help and shares his knowledge, thoughts and feelings. I respect him for his fairness, strong will, intellect and modesty. Ted is also fond of sports and on weekends we often go to the sports club or swimming pool. I like our friendship because it helps me to feel strong and sure of myself.
