Why did Erin Gruwell (Mrs. G) decide to teach instead of becoming a lawyer? Mrs. G believes that fighting for a student in the classroom before it's too late is preferable than fighting for him in court when it's already too late. The fight is already lost by the time you try to defend a child in court. The true battle begins in the classroom.
List some opposition/obstacles Ms. G faces in the beginning

MISCONCEPTIONS
How do the students in 203 relate to one another at first?
They look at the world through the eyes of various races with skepticism, but they soon understand that they all have similar concerns and have experienced hardships.
What are ways Mrs. Gruwell tried to engage (make them interested) the students? With rap music
What are some reasons the students do not respect Mrs. Gruwell at first? What do they say to her when she confronts them? They believe she'll leave them when she can't manage them any longer, just like the previous instructors.
5. What is Mrs. Gruwell’s husband’s attitude toward her teaching career? His demeanor is a mix of jealous and aggressive. He thinks she's inept since she's educating youngsters that society considers to be at danger. Unteachable and achieving their full potential, which he has previously achieved but isn't pleased with
6. Why do you think Mrs. Gruwell experienced so much opposition from the other teachers? That is because she taught all of the pupils using a novel way. That's because she's a new student. Her students adored Ms. G., as well as the rest of the classroom and their peers.
7. What activity started to unite the students? The pupils are brought together by the Line Game. This was the action that brought the students closer. It definitely aids kids in forming bonds with one another.
8. What diary entry moved you the most? Why? The diary of the person who was evicted during the summer was the one that had the biggest impact on me. It hit me because being left on the streets with nowhere to go and no one to turn to is difficult.
9. Describe the transformation of the students of room 203. The pupils are uninspired, unruly, impolite, and ethnically antagonistic to one another at first. Ms. G is not respected by them. DAY BY DAY They appreciate Ms. G, her class, and themselves
10. How are the students of room 2013 similar to the students at UzSWLU? How are they different? There is no similarity in my opinion. The students come from poverty, gangs, racial conflict, violence, and drug trafficking backgrounds in this movie
