2.2 Vocabulary. Information systems and communication.
Discussion.1. Information is too valuable to be left to IT departments. In today`s business world, every manager should be a computer specialist.
To what extent do you agree?
Do I think information systems are too important to be left to computer specialists? Yes. Because I don't want you to take this degree too, and the next person and eventually lower the avg salary as the world becomes more technologically literate. It's not hard, if you put in the years and survive through COLLEGE, it's not always about GPA let alone there are people without degrees in this field who did well anyway. Do I want to tell you this information? No because I'm afraid this thread might get a lot of views and then next thing you know my response goes on some randomly advertised facebook ad that entices you to click and then my response is featured explaining the truth of the world and then you find out that millions of people had viewed the ad, thousands had liked the ad and next thing you know it generates the conversation is it really that easy. Next thing you know more and more people start taking up information systems and there goes my Porsche. I am only helping you, because you asked this question. So please realize, if you are not a computer specialist to take this route whether you know anything. You literally can sit on your ass all day, get on facebook, take a break, have an hour lunch break without breaking a sweat, and then do your work and go home. Are you a nurse working for a lesser salary and picking up poop and getting blood all over you? or a construction worker in the blazing sun? This is the degree that isn't going to school for "business" such bs, yet this degree is business and technology, where everything is headed. going to school for business is like eating bland food where information systems is like eating spicy indian food with great taste. Am I entertaining you? well remember, this is about information systems. like yes, stop drop and do it.
