STEP 1: introduce the two new words: leg, hand (inactive:
left, right.) Then at first call a pupil to the blackboard and com-
mand ‘Touch your right hand’, and help him/her fulfil the com-
mand. in the same way introduce the left and right leg. As usual
work on the pronunciation of the words, especially the sound [t]
in “touch”, “left” and “right”.
STEP 2: Consolidate the new words with the help of a game.
explain that if you say ‘left leg’ or ‘right hand’, they should not
touch the appropriate hand or foot but raise them, i.e. the pupils
should raise their left leg, then their right hand.
