Ladies and gentlemen,
On behalf of the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, I have the honour to 
welcome all participants and guests of the international exhibitions.
COVID-19 pandemic has become a global challenge for the international community, causing 
one of the deepest recessions in the history. For Uzbekistan, the same as for all other countries, 
the current priorities include economic recovery and its further growth, social protection of the 
nation. Foreign investments in the real sector of the economy and favourable investment climate 
is provided by a clear legislative framework for protection of rights and interests of foreign 
investors along with an extensive system of legal guarantees, preferences and benefits for foreign 
investors, which underpins great opportunities for their successful activities.
It is obvious to all of us that trade shows play a significant role in attracting investments, the 
latest equipment and technologies. The significant industrial exhibitions held by Iteca Exhibitions 
annually cover the key sectors of the economy and contribute to establishment of mutually 
beneficial contacts between state owned and private enterprises and the international business 
community.
I am confident that in 2022 Iteca Exhibitions will provide a reliable platform for discussions,
