It can be assumed that the pores are filled with a foaming mass. On the basis of literature 
data and experimental studies, it has been established that such coke should have high fire and heat 
protection properties. 
An important indicator for fire heat-shielding coatings is their ability to coke formation, 
which is significantly influenced by the amount of phosphorus-, silicon- and nitrogen-containing 
composition of the coating, as an effective catalyst for coke formation. When phosphorus, silicon 
and nitrogen atoms are combined in the modifier, we can talk about an increase in the coke-forming 
ability of the coating due to the synergistic effect. 
It has been established that a coating containing phosphorus, silicon and nitrogen-
containing oligomeric composition is resistant to combustion and can be attributed to fire 
resistance group 1 (difficult to burn), an increase in the content of phosphorus, silicon and nitrogen-
containing oligomeric composition leads to an increase in coke residue (Table 2).

In the process of production of the obtained polymer composites, test experiments were 
carried out and the results were obtained. The metal surface was cleaned before coating the 
external load-bearing metal structures with fire-resistant convex polymer composite coatings 
(Figure 2. A). The polymer composite intended for the outer surface was then thoroughly mixed. 
The finished polymer coating (Fig. 2. B) was applied to the surface of the apparently cleaned metal 
structure. The appearance of these polymer coatings for exterior surfaces after 6 months (Fig. 2.S), 
weather resistance (from -20 0S to +110 0S), a wide range of application temperatures and 
protection from fire, corrosion caused by chemicals It was found that the difference between these

types of polymer composites is that at the same time they have protective properties against three 
different types of impacts. This leads to economic and environmental efficiency in the application 
of polymer composite materials in metal structures of buildings and structures.
