A qualitative study based on a survey designed to find out how teachers conceptualized the
environment and whether they perceive a link between EE and school improvement. Teachers
appear to have a relatively broad understanding of the environment and of EE, but many do


not perceive the relationship between EE and school improvement, nor of how EE and 
curriculum integration are related.
