Due to the dispersion of palladium on the surface of 

the retainer, direct contact of oxygen with the palladium

In order to develop an active and selective catalyst 

for the synthesis of BA from ethylene and acetic acid, to 

control  the  catalytic  properties  of  the  introduced 

components,  the  influence  of  the  amount  and  ratio  of 

individual catalyst components was investigated.
