My uncle used to drink a lot of coffee, but now she prefers to drink tea. 

We used to live in a flat, buy now we live in a house. 

He used to drive to work, buy now he goes on foot.  

Used to uchun qisqa javoblarda did ishlatiladi: 

Did they use to go out often?                    Yes, they did. /No, they didn’t.

Would/Used to o‘tgan zamondagi takroriy ish-harakatlar va holatlar uchun ishlatiladi:  

I and my friends would/used to go to the cinema on Sundays. 

Rodger’s father would/used to take him to the zoo at the weekend. 

 

Ammo would holat fe’llari bilan ishlatilmaydi: 

They used to live in London.  (NOT They would live in London.)
