USING PEDAGOGICAL TECHNOLOGIES IN DISTANCE LEARNING

Abstract
The distance learning form is more confidently declaring itself, especially in
higher education. It has long been calculated that economically this is a more profitable
form of training compared to full-time. Therefore, when we talk about the process of
distance learning, we assume the presence of a teacher and students in this process,
their communication, students' communication among themselves, as well as the pres-
ence in the textbook system of the necessary set of teaching aids.
Key words:
pedagogical technology, distance learning, distance form, stages of distance
learning.
The current requirements of the market for the qualified training of specialists
as the main capital of society are quite high. The education system is faced with the task
of preparing a creatively minded person who possesses research skills and abilities, is
able to navigate the flow of scientific information and modern information technologies,
ready to constantly improve general and professional competence, to possible retrain-
ing and retraining. And this cannot but be taken into account by all types of educational
institutions that train specialists for various industries. Therefore, lifelong learning is
becoming a necessary and increasingly significant element of modern educational sys-
tems [5].
One of the highly effective areas for improving the methodology of higher educa-
tion is the use of distance learning technologies in the educational process.
We attribute the understanding of distance education as a result and as a value
to the future when the regulatory framework of distance education is adopted and an
appropriate training system is formed. The concept of self-education, which is also in-
cluded in the concept of education in general, does not provide for a teacher in the sys-
tem. This is an independent cognitive activity of a student. This is the fundamental dif-
ference, the conceptual difference between distance learning (the educational process)
and the self-education systems and programs that we deal with when working with
stand-alone courses on video tapes, television and radio courses, when working with
computer programs, programs on CDs. The process of self-education on the basis of
network programs, courses, etc., where there is no interaction between teacher and
students, should be considered in the same series. To use the term “remote” in this case
is not justified, since we are talking about independent work of any student (in the
broad sense of the word) with a training program, information and educational re-
sources on different media. The student can independently work with a book, with a
video cassette, with a network course. From this, the pedagogical essence of the process
(self-education) does not change. The concept of distance is applicable to the form of
training in which the teacher and students are separated by distance, which introduces
specific forms of interaction into the educational process.
