EFFICACY OF USING INTERNET RESOURCES IN EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

Abstract:
The article considers a modern English lesson using modern technologies for teaching
English listening and reading lessons. Introduction of innovations as an Internet resource makes
educational process more effective.

In modern society, the role of foreign languages is becoming truly irreplaceable. Knowledge
of a foreign language makes it possible to join the world culture, to fully use the potential of the
Internet resources. Nowadays, new information technologies are being intensively introduced into
all spheres of our life, including the educational process. In this regard, there is a need to develop
a methodology for using computer information technologies in teaching a foreign language. New
information pedagogical technologies are becoming part of the educational process. The use
of Internet resources in foreign language lessons is an actual direction in the methodology that
requires new approaches and non-standard solutions. Today we can say that Internet technologies
are part of the general information culture of teachers and students. The Internet stimulates the
desire of children to learn, expands the zone of individual activity of each student, increases the
speed of delivery of high-quality material within one lesson. The issue of integrating the Internet
into education and, in particular, its application in teaching foreign languages, is currently quite
relevant, since with using the Internet as a means of teaching a foreign language is the best way to
realize many goals and objectives of teaching and upbringing. The possibilities of using the Internet
resources are enormous. The global Internet creates conditions for obtaining any information
necessary for students and teachers: regional geographic material, news from the life of young
people, articles from newspapers and magazines, necessary literature, etc.
Currently, there is no doubt about the relevance and relevance of the integration of the Internet
in the learning process. In this case, the main subject of discussion is not the question for what,
but how to use modern computer technologies in the learning process. The use of the Internet
would significantly expand the range of real communication situations, increase the motivation of
students, and make it possible to apply the acquired knowledge, formed skills, and speech skills to
solve real communication problems.
Features of the use of Internet resources in educational activities

A teacher who keeps up with the times is today psychologically and technically ready to use
information technology in teaching. Internet technologies provide educational activities in the
educational process, using applied and instrumental software. At the moment, the Internet is a
part of a teacher’s life, as it becomes a familiar and suitable means for acquiring new material.
Teachers often use in their lessons the material that they found on the information network, since
the endless possibilities of the Internet make it easier to find educational material to prepare for
lessons. Teachers prefer to find educational material on the Internet in electronic form, as it allows
you to:
- independently improve their knowledge;
- improve your knowledge through distance learning;
- find educational material on the Internet for preparing and conducting lessons;
